Dear Reader,
The reason why you felt inclined to read this newsletter, I think, is the magical attraction the word ‘skills’ holds.
Aren’t skills what almost all of us strive to attain with more or less vigour since we woke up to the world? Didn’t most of us start dreaming about ways to better our own lives and that of our families at an early age already? Some of us thought about making our direct environment a better place for others to live in. And better still, some of us even have the far sighted aspiration of making the world a better place for all of us.
If these words speak to you and spark your imagination, then we have a sound connection with each other, and to the biggest questions in the air that often bog us down and hold us back: How to attain skills? And not just any skill, but á skill or skills set that fits our own personal potential, passion and ambitions.
Well then, let’s talk. Individuals in our circle of future orientated workers and thinkers have been milling these questions in our heads hard and deep for years on end. The answers always seemed so elusive, especially in terms of the broad context of massive unemployment here and elsewhere on the continent, and us wanting to try to reach many youths and trying to build economies of scale proportions to accommodate as many as possible members of society. After all these years we came to the following conclusions:
· There is no big brother or saviour that will come to everybody’s rescue!
· It is up to us as individuals to unleash the enormous power within all of us, and to do things ourselves and with every grain of energy we can muster.
· Our company as facilitator of this process of empowerment, and you as skills candidate have to start small and work in a systematic step by step way to achieve the goals we have set ourselves.
So here are our first small steps for immediate implementation:
1. SKILLS TRAINING COURSES in the
AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
2. SKILLS TRAINING COURSES in
AGRICULTURE
Thabazimbi, a small town in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, is where Eco Group Africa is based. This is where we start our journey together. Who can predict where this adventure will take us and how far our reach and impact in the town, the region and eventually the sub continent will be?
IT WILL ALL DEPEND ON YOU!
