Moloto Eco Developments Current Projects Flagship Eco Group Africa project entailing an ecovillage and business school in an informal settlement area on the outskirts of a small town in South Africa. This project on a 12 hectare piece of land lies at the centre of the entire Eco Group Africa plan. It is located in the town of Thabazimbi in the Limpopo Province of South Africa and encompasses a planned 140 unit residential development at the core of which lies an educational and skills development centre. It is situated amidst an informal settlement area on the outskirts of the town and is meant to be the catalyst in transforming the dire and impoverished situation society finds itself in into a tower of hope in a broader region with enormous untapped economic growth potential in the fields of agriculture, tourism, conservation and mining. Government approvals for the project are in place as it was also taken up the municipality’s Integrated Development Plan in 2022. From this growth point a massive development drive in the fields of agriculture, tourism, game ranching and conservation will be initiated which will radiate out into the region in an ever increasing scope of activities. The first preparatory stage of the funding cycle of the project which has been financed by the developer with own funds, has been completed. The second stage of funding, which entails practical implementations such as land surveying, bulk infrastructure installation and phase one house building, is imminent and ready to accommodate investors and donors for this great empowerment programme.
